All of our Podiatrists and Physiotherapists are registered with the Health Care Professions Council. The HCPC is an independent body responsible for the regulation of allied health professionals. The team are committed to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and meet both formally and informally to ensure our care pathways are effective and evidence-based, and to discuss complex individual cases.
Podiatrist and clinic director, Joanna Bower trained at Plymouth University and has a BSc ( Hons) in Podiatry. Joanna moved into the private sector with Well Healed Podiatry in 2012.
Well Healed is now an established practice in the heart of Bovey Tracey The vision is to offer a welcoming and above all, friendly environment that offers treatments without any compromise of clinical standards. Joanna continues to work to build the presence of the Bovey Tracey clinic in the area.
Joana Correa is an associate podiatrist at Well Healed Podiatry, and trained with Joanna at Plymouth University. She works as a Senior Podiatrist in the NHS, and is now also enjoying working as part of the team at Well Healed. Joana primarily offers the service of home visits to house bound clients.
Bev Brodbelt Physiotherapist: MACP, CSP, HACP, AACP, ATACP
Bev Graduated from the University of Brighton in 1999 and immediately worked voluntarily for 3 months in Ecuador. She then worked at St George’s Hospital in London for over 3 years gaining experience in many fields of physiotherapy. She moved to Devon and the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital in 2003 and specialised in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
Bev has been the Team Lead in Rheumatology and Hydrotherapy (including paediatrics) for the last 10 years and works alongside a team of Consultants, Occupational Therapists and Specialist Nurses. More recently Bev has become considered the South West Specialist in Hypermobility and associated conditions.
Bev treats all musculoskeletal conditions and is able to use a variety of treatment modalities including; Acupunture, taping, exercise prescription, mobilisation/manipulation and physiotherapy specific massage.
