After completing my training
in yoga in 1994 I have enjoyed the opportunity of working both privately
and in Adult Education. Through my Yogic development I became increasingly
interested in the benefits of body-work and went on to train in massage
and Indian head massage. I have been established in my private practice in
Bovey Tracey since 2003. My clients benefit from my holistic approach to
treatment and I hope to provide an individual treatment tailored to your
specific needs. I treat a broad spectrum of people from the young and
active to the not so young and active! Clients with illnesses such
arthritis, post stroke trauma or Parkinsons (for example) can often
benefit from a soothing stretching massage or from an individual yoga
programme.

Massage is beneficial to all
body systems and is a natural and effective way to treat both physical and
psychological problems as well as providing an enjoyable way to unwind.
Massage reduces stress, anxiety and emotional problems by relaxing both
the body and the mind. It can improve the circulation, strengthen the
immune system, stimulate the lymphatic and reduce the aches and pains of
stiff joints and sore muscles.

Indian Head Massage
focuses on the upper body where a lot of anxieties and tensions are
stored. It relaxes the upper body working on the back, shoulder, arms,
neck, face and head. If you are uncomfortable with the thought of a full
body massage then this might be the treatment for you.

Yoga
teaches how we can reduce
the effects of emotional and physical stresses in our body ourselves. In a
one to one session we will focus on your individual needs and abilities.
